September 9 is celebrated as California Admission Day in the United States. It was declared a Public Holiday in California. Where it is a holiday for the population in the state, schools, and businesses are closed. California Day was celebrated when California became the 31st state in 1850. The day was observed by most of the public offices, museums, schools, and many businesses conducting special events on this day.

Constitution commemoration Day well known as Citizenship Day was celebrated on September 17 which honors the document that guarantees the People of the United States their American Rights. Since its ratification in 1787, United States Constitution has served as the basis for all United States laws.

Michigan Indian Day is celebrated on September 23 the day is a good chance for Michigan citizens to understand and appreciate the many offerings that people of Native American descent have made to our state. The day was not officially declared as a public holiday. But businesses, schools, and many offices hold special events and outreach programs to commemorate the annual observation. The day was enacted in 1974 according to the Public Act 30, but it did not gain momentum until 2007 when the house of Representatives was resolved. Some of the major issues they faced.

American Indian Heritage Day also known as Native American Heritage Day, shows the heritage, history, and contributions of the Native Americans. Some states recognize the day as a legal holiday but on some days it is not a public holiday. Schools, businesses, and offices are not closed but they conduct many special events and programs to celebrate the annual observation. The day also motivates public elementary and secondary schools where they educate students about the contributions, achievements, and history of Native Americans.

Rosh Hashana is celebrated on the 26th of September among many Jewish communities -the Jewish New Year. Many communities celebrate the day for 2 days. It is not a Public holiday many schools, colleges, and businesses remain open and follow daily hours, but some of the Jewish-run organizations may be closed.
